What road are you taking?

People take different roads seeking fulfillment and happiness. Just because they’re not on your road doesn’t mean they’ve gotten lost.” – H. Jackson Brown, Jr.

We are all on our own journey in life.   Your path is yours, and yours alone.   We shouldn’t jump to judgment because someone else isn’t following the path we are on, doesn’t believe the same as we do, or in ‘our view’ is doing things we don’t think they should be doing.

In the same light, you shouldn’t regret anything you have done in your past – good and bad.  Looking back down the road you have traveled in your life, all of your choices and decisions – good and bad, have led you to where you are today, to the person you are in the present.  Without those past choices and decisions you would be a different person so accept your past for what it was and for it leading you to where you are today.

Realize that the path ahead is yours to make.  You don’t have to follow anyone else’s path. You have the power and ability to forge your own road to travel on. Your happiness, success, failure, disappointment, excitement, love, accomplishments….all of it is up to you and lies with you and the road you decide to take.  Stand up, be proud of you as a person and take control of your life. Make the most of where you have come from and whaere you can take yourself.
